This page lists the external size, floor footprint and capacity of every QAkustik booth and pod in one table, taken from the same product data as the model pages. All models are 220 cm high; the footprint ranges from 1.16 m² for the one-person Q Pod Tokyo to 6.16 m² for the eight-person Q Pod New York.
Internal dimensions, unit weight and door clear opening are not published for any model yet. They are marked "on request" and we give them per model in your quote rather than estimate them here.

Music and studio cabins

Which size for how many people?
Choose by the main use, then check the floor space. The capacities below are the ones stated on each product page.
- Short calls and video meetings for one person: Q Pod Tokyo, 105 × 110 cm.
- Longer focus work for one person with an ergonomic office chair: Q Pod Berlin, 115 × 160 cm.
- One-to-one meetings and interviews for 1-2 people: Q Pod Oslo, 130 × 160 cm.
- Small team calls for up to four people, with facing sofas and a table: Q Pod Paris, 130 × 220 cm.
- A meeting room without construction for up to six or eight people: Q Pod Amsterdam (250 × 220 cm) or Q Pod New York (280 × 220 cm).
Footprint is not the whole floor space
The footprint in the table is the outline of the booth itself. In the room you also need space in front of the door so it can open fully and people can step in, and a clear walkway past it that meets your escape-route rules.
Mark the outline and the door swing on the floor with tape before ordering. It is the quickest way to see whether a booth works in a corner, along a window or between desks. Leave the area around ventilation openings free; we confirm the minimum gaps for your model and layout in the quote.
Access route: doors, lifts and stairs
External dimensions are not packing dimensions. According to the manufacturer, the booths are delivered as flat-pack panels that pass through standard 90 cm doorways and are assembled on site.
Measure the narrowest clear door width, corridor turns, lift doors, the lift interior and its load limit, and any stairs. Send these measurements, or photos of the route, with your request: we confirm the largest packed piece and its weight for your model. The buying guide has a checklist.
Ceiling height
Every QAkustik model is 220 cm high on the outside. Your room needs more than that: check the lowest point of the ceiling, including beams, light fittings, ducts and sprinkler heads, and allow headroom above the booth for assembly and for the ventilation to work.
If your ceiling is low or uneven, send the height with your request and we confirm the minimum clearance for the model you choose. Ask your building or fire-safety officer how a closed booth roof relates to the sprinklers and smoke detectors in that area.
Questions about sizes
What is the smallest QAkustik phone booth?
The Q Pod Tokyo: 105 cm wide, 110 cm deep and 220 cm high, a footprint of 1.16 m². It is a one-person booth for calls and short video meetings.
How high are the booths, and what ceiling height do I need?
All models are 220 cm high externally. The room must be higher than that to allow assembly and ventilation. Send us your ceiling height and we confirm the minimum clearance for your model.
Will a booth fit through a normal office door?
The manufacturer delivers the booths as flat-pack panels that pass standard 90 cm doorways. Narrow corridors, lifts and stairs should still be checked: send your measurements and we confirm the largest packed piece.
Why are internal dimensions and weights not listed?
They are not published for any model yet, and we do not want to show estimates. We give the internal size and weight per model in the quote or data sheet on request.
How much floor space does a four-person meeting pod need?
The Q Pod Paris measures 130 × 220 cm, a footprint of 2.86 m². Add the space for the door to open and for people to walk in.
